PUSH at Dublin Theatre Festival

6 October 2017 — 9 October 2017
The Ark
  • Friday 6 October 10:00

From 6-9 October 2017 The Ark, Ireland’s only dedicated cultural centre for children, hosted their PUSH partners from Scotland, Belgium, Denmark and Norway in Dublin. Over the weekend the PUSH delegates (project partners and artists invited to attend) met the team from Creative Europe Desk Ireland at The Ark where PUSH and other organisations also co-funded by Creative Europe were presented to the sector in Dublin. Delegates also had the opportunity to network with Irish artists and organisations at this event.

Since The Ark was established in 1995, it has curated the Theatre for Children season at Dublin Theatre Festival. During their visit, PUSH delegates saw Poggle, a show for early-years children by Barrowland Ballet from Scotland as well as seeing Ulysses, Hamnet and Girl Song (all part of the 2018 Dublin Theatre Festival programme).  The group also had the opportunities to explore Dublin, enjoy some traditional Irish music and maybe even a drop or two of Guinness!
