29 November 2016 — 2 December 2016
Black Box teater (Oslo)

From November 29 to December 2 2016, the PUSH-partners met at Showbox, a performing arts festival for the young audience in Oslo, Norway. The festival is organized by the Norwegian Partner; Scenekunstbruket. During this week in Oslo the partners, and a few of the artists selected for the first lab saw performances, networked with theatre and dance delegates from Norway and other European Countries, and attended a seminar that presented the three PUSH topics.

You can watch a short film about the Showbox Festival visit made by Geraldine Heaney here:

Showbox was established in 2005, and since then has become an important performing arts festival for children and young people in Norway. It is a festival, a showcase and a meeting point for artists, organisers and everyone whose interest lies in performing arts for a young audience.

The festival is also a forum for lectures, seminars, discussions and networking. Showbox wants to contribute to the further development and strengthening of performing arts for children and young people, and creating a forum where ideas provide common references for further experience and performing arts discussions. We place great emphasis on networking, discussions and presentations of future projects.
