Anna is a New Zealand born choreographer who has lived, danced and choreographed in New Zealand, Australia, England and Scotland. Her love for Scotland brought her back to stay and she is excited to be a part of the rich community of artists here creating work locally, nationally and internationally.

Anna’s interests lie in creating work which trusts and relishes the power of movement to connect with people. She has a strong interest in creation of atmosphere and transformation and loves creating works which offer a sense of journey. She also loves to capture the imagination, spark joy or a way of seeing anew.

Most recently she has created work for Resolution 2018 at The Place and the Opening Weekend of Imaginate’s International Children’s Festival. She has also created work for Fringe Festivals, professional dance collectives, school groups and launches and also continues to work as a dancer, dance teacher and Pilates instructor. Anna holds a Masters in Choreography at Roehampton University (2017) gaining Distinction, and was also the recipient of the MFA Choreography Thesis Prize for Outstanding Achievement at Masters Level. She received her undergraduate training from the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne in 2010.
