Rosa Duncan is Glasgow based performance director working across plays, non-verbal contemporary work and multimedia. In her work for young audiences, she explores socio-political phenomena in an abstract and playful way. She enjoys reducing ideas to literal actions, abstract images and symbols. She likes to play with rules, rhythm, archetypes and materials. Her work is simultaneously deeply serious and utterly silly.
Rosa is a graduate of the Lancaster Institute of Contemporary Arts. Her work has been greatly influenced by visual art and a background in movement Rosa was a Launchpad Artist with Imaginate in 2018/19, she has directed and developed work across Scottish producing houses and has created online short-form comedy for the BBC.
